Beauty Product Review and Swatch: Quo Cosmetics True Artist Eye, Lip & Cheek Palette

I’m taking a break from Korean beauty brands, on this review, I will highlight one of Canada’s original make-up brands, Quo Cosmetics.

Earlier this year I received a gift from my aunt Merlina (Thank you so much!). This palette is Quo Cosmetic’s 2016 Holiday Collection that consists of eyeshadows, lip glosses, contour, blush and highlighting powders—phew! That’s a lot on one palette, great right?

Just a short recap about this brand; Quo is exclusively sold at Shoppers Drug Mart locations. So if you’re in the Philippines, probably there are online stores or make-up groups that you can come across this brand, or you might know anyone from Canada that can ship it to you.

Alright, enough of that, here’s the swatches and review of Quo Cosmetics’ True Artist Eye, Lip & Cheek Palette.

It comes with a sleek red box, perfect as a gift idea!

And when I opened the palette, it screams “MY SHADES!” I love all the colors, I can easily play around the 24 shades if I want my make-up muted, naked, grungy or smoky. I’m not a fan of vibrant colors on my face.

Here I made swatches of each row of the eyeshadows.

I love everything brown or nude shades so these colors will be mostly used!

If I need a bit more colors on my eyes, I can add purples, blues, and grays.

Not all eyeshadows are pigmented, for some you need to apply it a couple of times. But that is okay because, on make-up, best results are when you apply it little by little till you get your desired intensity of the color.

Now for the cheeks, I love the shades because it’s not shocking pinks! It made me ‘blush’ when the blushes are subtle pinks, just right for my skin tone. The contour or bronzers are great too, it is not orange-y, we don’t like that. The highlight I need a little bit more shimmer.

The lip glosses are just okay, I think its consistency is like a simple lip balm. You can apply it many times to get the coverage.

Here are photos of me using different mix and match of eyeshadow shades. My base make-up is just BB cream from Etude House and compact powder from Daiso Japan.

Please comment below if you want a video review or make-up tutorial on the looks I did!

Thank you for reading my blog, stay radiant!
